Reaching Europe from Georgia

Georgian wine has a story that sells itself in Europe. Getting a pallet of it from a marani in Kakheti onto a European shelf is a different exercise.

That part is mostly paperwork, certification and knowing who to call. We help Georgian wineries with the work that isn't winemaking: export documentation, certification, EU labelling compliance through Dippi, freight, and finding buyers who'll take a first order.

The Nordic monopolies

Sweden and Norway both sell alcohol through state monopolies, Systembolaget and Vinmonopolet, and both buy through public tenders. It's a closed process that rewards knowing the format.

We answer those tenders directly through our sister companies there. We've bid in both countries. No listing yet.

For European buyers

If you buy for a European retailer or importer and want Georgian wine in your range, we sit on the supply side of that conversation. We work with wineries here and we handle the export side: documentation, certification, EU labelling compliance and freight.

One conversation with us can cover several producers, instead of a winery-by-winery search conducted from abroad. Tell us what you're looking for and we'll say plainly whether Georgia has it.
